Business Challenge

Our client has a globally distributed sales force for Fixed Income Derivative products. As part of a strategic restructure, management wished to incentivise sales staff from different product areas to sell these "high value" products. They introduced a new process for valuing these transactions and "sharing" this value between different cross selling areas

Existing systems could not support this process and the client required a very quick "time to market" to introduce these processes in tandem with the organisational changes

How City Fios helped

  • Based on our Fios solution, City Fios produced a requirements analysis which added significant functionality to our intranet trade capture tool including trade routing and approval by traders
  • Following on from this, we developed and rolled out the solution to all offices of our client
  • We also supported them in the roll out and conversion of historic data to the new system and in providing training to all key users

Outcome and benefits

  • The system was successfully implemented and continues to be supported by City Fios. It feeds data for this business area into the legacy, global sales MI system
  • We have since enhanced the system to meet a number of additional functional requirements, including implementation of two direct feeds from transaction systems
